wealthAPI becomes a member of the Tech & Data Lab Frankfurt
wealthAPI has joined the TechQuartier Frankfurt community and will be participating in the Tech & Data Lab Frankfurt going forward. The program is aimed at banks and technology companies that want to test new use cases under realistic conditions without setting up complex pilot projects.
For wealthAPI, as a BaFin-licensed account information service provider, membership means direct access to Frankfurt’s financial ecosystem, including the Deutsche Bundesbank. As part of the Tech & Data Lab, wealthAPI contributes concrete use cases and synthetic datasets that banks can use to trial new solutions.
André Rabenstein, CEO of wealthAPI, comments:
“For banks, it is often difficult to test new use cases with real customers without setting up complex pilot projects. In the Tech & Data Lab, wealthAPI can present concrete use cases and test them together with banks. This makes it possible to determine in weeks rather than years whether a solution works, what value it delivers, and what it costs. wealthAPI contributes both practical use cases and synthetic datasets, which significantly increases the likelihood of a successful test and enables a fast product rollout in practice.”
The collaboration with TechQuartier complements other formats from recent weeks: in early September, TechQuartier moderated a panel at the Handelsblatt Bankengipfel, where André Rabenstein spoke about the transition from pilot projects to scaled bank–fintech collaborations.
